Jonathan Li Songwriter

Berklee College of Music educated songwriter, producer, educator, and sync creator Jonathan Li has built a career at the intersection of music, technology, and storytelling. His work has been featured by Riot Games, the NFL, Meta, ESPN, Amazon Prime, CBS, NBCUniversal, Peacock, and other major entertainment and media partners, with placements spanning television, sports, gaming, advertising, and digital media.

As a songwriter and producer, Jonathan collaborates across pop, sync, JPOP, KPOP, and artist development projects, working with songwriters, producers, publishers, music supervisors, and artists throughout North America and Asia. His music has appeared on Spotify playlists including New Music Friday, New Music Now, Time To Dance, and Viral Top 50, while earning nominations from both the Western Canadian Music Awards and the Gospel Music Awards.

Recent collaborations and creative partnerships have included work with artists, producers, and writers connected to Riot Games, the NFL, ESPN, Hulu, NBC, Meta, Amazon, CBS and other internationally recognized entertainment properties and creators. His songs have been featured in campaigns, broadcasts, and productions reaching audiences around the world.

Beyond songwriting, Jonathan is a passionate educator and mentor. He has served as a mentor with Canada’s Music Incubator, taught at music conferences across North America, guest lectured at New York University, and contributed as faculty with The Songwriting Academy, whose collective faculty have sold more than one billion records worldwide. Through these roles, he has helped guide hundreds of artists, songwriters, managers, and music entrepreneurs in developing sustainable careers within the music industry.

In parallel with his music career, Jonathan is the founder of Prosody Digital, a digital marketing consultancy. Over the course of his marketing career, he has worked both agency-side and independently, contributing to projects for brands including Nissan USA, Infiniti Global, Dell, AT&T, Hewlett Packard, Electronic Arts, and CBC Music. This blend of creative and analytical experience has given him a unique perspective on storytelling, audience growth, and the evolving relationship between music, technology, and culture.
