More caffeine…Porto hangs with fellow Canadian @chesterkrupa 10. After all the KPOP, finally got to meet @bigbananamusic IRL!
LOVE Week at @elevationgta!!! My favorite (and mos LOVE Week at @elevationgta!!! My favorite (and most tiring ☺️) week of the year has ended, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. People were cared for and loved through action, not just words. In the Greater Toronto Area, across 76 events over 7 days, 64.8K meals were packed, 3.9K hygiene kits, 2K backpacks, 3.8K snack packs, 100 winter kits, 100 senior kits, 300 baby care kits, and $45K was given to local charities. This effort comes from recognizing the grace we’ve all been given and reflecting that grace to our community. It’s not about checking a box, fulfilling a religious requirement, or virtue signalling. We LOVE because we were first LOVED. Can’t believe that this was my 6th LOVE Week and thankful that I got to partner with some incredible humans from every walk of life. 🤯 WHAT??? Guest lecturing at @nyuniversity…so 🤯 WHAT??? Guest lecturing at @nyuniversity…something that I NEVER thought that I’d get the opportunity to do. Huge thanks to the legendary Lee Dannay for the invitation to speak about music licensing and my journey as a songwriter, marketer and overall music human. The reel is coming but for now, I’m posting this for memory sake (cause I’m sentimental like that 😝). PS. Lee is so humble that she doesn’t even tell her students all the things that she has accomplished. She just tells her students to Google her and I LOVE that 🤣.

Finally got to see her play live again this past weekend after too many years 🇨🇦. Alberta kids!!! 2. The reel is coming…but for now, it was incredible to guest lecture at @nyuniversity @nyutisch this month, thanks to Lee Dannay for the opportunity. 3. Grateful for music collaborators and friendships with incredible humans like @troyquan of @realblackcaviar. When you share the same purpose it changes everything 🙏 4. Outreach with @elevationgta!!! So grateful that we GET to serve and love on our community. Gardening at @waterfrontncto. 5. Red Bull Canada Breakdancing Champ @ontonsnc!! Grateful to be able to see experience this moment with @bakugram. Huge congrats to the homie Onton. 6. My guy @knockitoutmusic!!! Always great to chop it up in NYC. 7. Look at that lighting @_footz 😛 Great music hangs and sneaker talk as per usual. 8. Family!! Caught my first dance recital seeing my cousin’s daughter do her thing! Really special! 9. Huge thanks to @riotgames for using our unreleased song “Level Up” for the MASSIVE announcement that @valorant is coming to consoles (Swipe to Watch the Spot). 🎮 The Journey So Far? “Level Up” started as a request for Fast X after “Eternal Energy” started making waves. We didn’t get that movie, but @vindiesel we’re here and ready to make music for the final @thefastsaga movie 😛🙋🏻‍♂️ What did we get? An NFL 🏈 commercial and now a chance to be a small part of one of the biggest games in the WORLD (soon to be even bigger!) 🙌 Thanks to everyone who played a part in this. After moving to Toronto seven years ago, I’ve mainly attended/spoken at music conferences (intersection of marketing and music). Being able to return to my digital marketing roots to attend MozCon (while still getting some music things in) was incredible!! Some of the smartest digital marketers you’ll find anywhere. 1. Great to see both @joelklettke and @taliagw KILL it on the main stage at Mozcon 💪. 2. Been working on some new songs with @shyloommusic, excited for you all to hear them over the next few months, for now…we eat Thai food ✌️ 3. Been too many years since seeing @britneymuller = this one knows all the things about AI. 4. All of these incredibly smart marketing humans! 5. Gotta take a picture in front of the MozCon sign with @britt_klontz 6. @joelklettke kills it on the main stage #mozcon. Joel and I went to business school together, worked at the same agency for our first “marketing” jobs, went to our first MozCon together in 2012, and finally his band played with mine during my FIRST CD release party, so being back here was a full circle moment in our friendship to see him speak on this specific stage.
